Things to consider when shipping fireworks:

Delivery Location:

  • Keep in mind that Tractor Trailers operated by LTL trucking companies require ample space for delivery.
  • Ensure your selected shipping address can accommodate truck deliveries.
  • Note that consumer fireworks cannot be shipped via USPS, UPS, or FedEx; they must be received through a trucking company.

Residential vs. Commercial Address:

  • Residential addresses often incur additional shipping charges and may pose challenges for large truck deliveries.
  • Commercial addresses are typically more cost-effective for LTL freight and offer easier access for delivery trucks.

Terminal Pickup Option:

  • If your residential address isn’t suitable and you lack a commercial address for delivery, consider terminal pickup.
  • Joe Dirt Fireworks collaborates with multiple LTL providers, and there’s often a terminal conveniently located near your area.
  • Terminal pickup is usually more economical, requires less coordination, and offers flexible pickup times.

Lift Gate Requirement:

  • A lift gate facilitates the smooth transfer of pallets from the truck to the ground, reducing unloading time.
  • Without a lift gate, unloading may involve manually handling numerous cases, potentially incurring additional charges.
  • Although lift gate service may entail slightly higher shipping costs, it significantly streamlines the unloading process.

Transit Time Estimates:

  • Transit time estimates provided by LTL freight companies are not guaranteed.
  • While a map may indicate a 1-day transit time, it doesn’t necessarily mean next-day delivery.
  • Consider opting for urgent guaranteed delivery for time-sensitive orders, ensuring your fireworks arrive promptly for your event, albeit at an additional cost.

Display Fireworks (1.3G) Shipping

  • Display fireworks cannot be shipped via LTL trucking lines. All Display Fireworks categorized by the DOT as 1.3G will be shipped by Munnerlyn Trucking. The cost to ship 1.3G is a flat rate charged at $2.50 per mile round trip. When shipping 1.3G products we strive to combine with other customer orders to help reduce shipping cost.

July 4th or NYE Shipping deadline

  • To ensure delivery in time for July 4th or NYE, please note that our shipping deadline is 2 weeks prior to holiday. While we strive to accommodate orders placed after this date, we recommend contacting us to verify availability. Kindly understand that shipping may experience delays during these busy holiday periods, especially New Years Eve.
  • We strongly advise placing your order well in advance of the deadline to allow for any unforeseen issues with freight shipments. Ordering sooner provides us with ample time to address any potential complications and ensure a smooth delivery process.

By considering these factors, you can ensure a smooth and efficient shipping process for your fireworks orders, allowing you to focus on creating unforgettable displays for your audience.

A wholesale fireworks partner is only as good as they are reliable. The flashiest website in the world, the widest selection, and the easiest check-out process are all useless if you can’t depend on your order arriving at the expected time!

We know that many of our customers are professional pyrotechnicians with displays booked in the coming weeks and months, and it’s absolutely essential that they can plan on the shipping times that we provide on our website. That’s why we put extra effort into deciding what shipping providers we work with, and we keep a close eye on any factors, from weather to labor shortages and beyond, that could threaten to delay a shipment to one of our clients.

Dependable Delivery

As pyrotechnics professionals ourselves, we at Joe Dirt Wholesale Fireworks take your order seriously. We want you to know that you can count on us to deliver on time, every time so that you can get your displays set up in plenty of time for your next event.

We also put a huge amount of energy into order accuracy. You plan your fireworks displays carefully, and we don’t want you to have to scramble at the last minute to figure out a “plan B” just because your wholesaler failed to get you the exact products you ordered. We consider ourselves partners with you, and thus our name is on the line every time a pyrotechnics display launches into the sky.

Fireworks Shipping Regulations

As you can imagine, the shipping of fireworks is very closely regulated in the United States. It is a non-negotiable for us to strictly adhere to all the legislation that applies to each shipment we send out. That can be tricky to keep up with when we are shipping to different states with each order, but our system ensures that when your order leaves our care, it is packed safely, labeled correctly, and can legally make it to you without endangering anyone along the way.

Shipping Across State Lines

One of the biggest questions we hear is, “Can I order fireworks to be shipped across state lines?” The answer is complicated, but the good news is that we figure it out on our end so that you don’t have to! Each state has its own set of import regulations, but you can trust us to work out the details.

As your expert wholesale fireworks provider, we take care of the shipping regulations so that all you need to do is unpack the fireworks when they arrive and start assembling your next big pyrotechnics display.

Container Program

Ask us about our container program! This exciting offer allows you to get access to products that we don’t normally stock, and it helps you lower shipping costs by purchasing a large stock of pyrotechnics at one time.

Because shipping lead times can be variable, we advise placing your order well ahead of time to ensure delivery for your scheduled events. If you have questions about the best time to order, just give us a call and we’ll be glad to advise you!
