Delivery Location:

  • Keep in mind that Tractor Trailers operated by LTL trucking companies require ample space for delivery.
  • Ensure your selected shipping address can accommodate truck deliveries.
  • Note that consumer fireworks cannot be shipped via USPS, UPS, or FedEx; they must be received through a trucking company.

Residential vs. Commercial Address:

  • Residential addresses often incur additional shipping charges and may pose challenges for large truck deliveries.
  • Commercial addresses are typically more cost-effective for LTL freight and offer easier access for delivery trucks.

Terminal Pickup Option:

  • If your residential address isn’t suitable and you lack a commercial address for delivery, consider terminal pickup.
  • Joe Dirt Fireworks collaborates with multiple LTL providers, and there’s often a terminal conveniently located near your area.
  • Terminal pickup is usually more economical, requires less coordination, and offers flexible pickup times.

Lift Gate Requirement:

  • A lift gate facilitates the smooth transfer of pallets from the truck to the ground, reducing unloading time.
  • Without a lift gate, unloading may involve manually handling numerous cases, potentially incurring additional charges.
  • Although lift gate service may entail slightly higher shipping costs, it significantly streamlines the unloading process.

Transit Time Estimates:

  • Transit time estimates provided by LTL freight companies are not guaranteed.
  • While a map may indicate a 1-day transit time, it doesn’t necessarily mean next-day delivery.
  • Consider opting for urgent guaranteed delivery for time-sensitive orders, ensuring your fireworks arrive promptly for your event, albeit at an additional cost.

Display Fireworks (1.3G) Shipping

  • Display fireworks cannot be shipped via LTL trucking lines. All Display Fireworks categorized by the DOT as 1.3G will be shipped by Munnerlyn Trucking. The cost to ship 1.3G is a flat rate charged at $2.50 per mile round trip. When shipping 1.3G products we strive to combine with other customer orders to help reduce shipping cost.

July 4th or NYE Shipping deadline

  • To ensure delivery in time for July 4th or NYE, please note that our shipping deadline is 2 weeks prior to holiday. While we strive to accommodate orders placed after this date, we recommend contacting us to verify availability. Kindly understand that shipping may experience delays during these busy holiday periods, especially New Years Eve.
  • We strongly advise placing your order well in advance of the deadline to allow for any unforeseen issues with freight shipments. Ordering sooner provides us with ample time to address any potential complications and ensure a smooth delivery process.
